One Killed, 2 Injured in Weslaco Two-Vehicle Crash on Business 83 at Garza

Weslaco, Texas (November 8, 2019) – A man was killed, and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Weslaco, according to the police.

The deadly crash occurred on Thursday, November 7, at the intersection of Garza and Business 83.

Police said suspects in a newer model black Nissan Versa attempted to rob a man who was in another vehicle.

The victim, a man in his 50s, fled from the suspect and he ended up colliding with another vehicle at the intersection.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people were taken to the hospital for treatment.

The suspects left the scene in the newer model black Nissan Versa, and the authorities are looking for them. They are considered armed and dangerous.
