Pilot Dies in Fredericksburg Plane Crash near Bernhard Road and Kerr Road

Fredericksburg, Texas (January 18, 2019) – A pilot died when a plane crashed near Fredericksburg on Thursday evening, according to the DPS.
The wreck was reported at about 5 p.m. January 17 near the intersection of Bernhard Road and Kerr Road.
DPS said the small single-engine plane had one occupant when it crashed just west of Fredericksburg.
The pilot died in the crash.
The victim was not immediately identified.
The Federation Aviation Administration is conducting an investigation into the incident.
