1 Injured in Gardendale Plane Crash near Schlemeyer Field

Gardendale, Texas (November 2, 2019) – One person was injured on Friday in a plane crash near Gardendale, according to a local news release.

The crash took place on Friday, November 1, six miles north of Schlemeyer Field.

DPS said a single-engine plane crashed between the field and Highway 158.

The pilot, who was the only person in the plane, was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.

The FAA is investigating the crash.
