Rosendo Rosales Killed in Los Indios Pedestrian Accident on US 281

Los Indios, Texas (July 23, 2020) – A person was killed Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident in Los Indios, according to authorities.

The deadly accident happened on US 281.

DPS said Rosendo Rosales, 74, of Los Indios, was walking eastbound in the middle of the road when they were struck by a westbound vehicle driven by a male.

The driver stopped to render aid.

Rosales was declared dead at the scene.

No other details were provided.

The DPS is investigating the crash.
