Bicyclist Killed in Crash at Wilcrest Drive and Spice Lane in Houston

Man Killed in Houston Bicycle Crash at Wilcrest Drive and Spice Lane

Houston, Texas (November 18, 2020) – The man who was injured earlier this month in a bicycle accident in Houston has died, according to police.

The accident happened around 4:50 p.m., November 2, at the intersection of Wilcrest Drive and Spice Lane.  

Police said a Dodge 1500 pickup truck was traveling westbound when it struck a bicyclist who was traveling eastbound through the intersection.

The Dodge driver remained at the scene after the accident.

The bicyclist was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital, where he died on November 7. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash.
