Man Airlifted after Harris County Two-Vehicle Crash at Highway 6 and Pine Forest
Harris County, Texas (March 12, 2019) – A man was seriously injured early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash at a west Harris County intersection, police said.
The crash occurred at about 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 6 and Pine Forest.
Police said a Ford F-150 pickup truck was heading northbound on Highway 6 and stopped at a red light at the intersection when it was rear-ended by a Chevy Cavalier driven by the man.
Responding firefighters had to extricate the man who was pinned in his car.
The victim was then airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
The pickup driver was uninjured in the crash.
Officers said alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
