One Killed in River Oaks Pedestrian Accident on S. Shepherd Drive

River Oaks, Texas (June 11, 2019) – A person was killed in a pedestrian accident Monday afternoon in Houston’s River Oaks neighborhood, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident was reported around 1:30 p.m. on June 10, in the 1700 block of S. Shepherd Drive.

As per the report, the auto-pedestrian collision involved a cement truck.

The pedestrian was killed in the accident. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.

South Shepherd Drive was closed between Vermont and Peden streets following the crash.

An investigation is underway.
