Man Killed in Texarkana Bicycle Accident on 7th Street

Texarkana, Texas (January 22, 2021) – A man was killed in a bicycle accident Thursday night in Texarkana, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 8:30 p.m., January 21, in the 3500 block of W. 7th Street.

Police said a man was riding his bicycle when he was struck by a Lincoln Navigator.

The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The Navigator driver was uninjured, but she was taken to the hospital for evaluation since she is pregnant.

The police are investigating the crash.
