One Killed and One Injured in Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Katy Freeway near Barker Cypress Road 

Houston, Texas (August 2, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured Sunday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Houston, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 2:30 a.m., August 1, in the westbound lanes of the Katy Freeway near Barker Cypress Road.

According to the report, three vehicles collided, for unknown reasons, in the westbound lanes of the freeway.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Another person was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No other details regarding the crash were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
