Sarah Christina Dabadie Killed in North Austin Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Highway 183

Austin, Texas (July 28, 2020) – The pedestrian who was killed early Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in North Austin has been identified as 43-year-old Sarah Christina Dabadie, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:34 a.m., July 23, in the southbound lanes of Highway 183 near Burnet Road.

Police said Dabadie was in the roadway when she was struck by a vehicle.

The involved driver fled the scene after the accident.

Several passing motorists called 911 to report the accident.

Dabadie was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation is underway. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to call APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives at (512) 974-4278.
