Woman Hospitalized after San Antonio Pedestrian Accident at Alamo Downs Parkway and Grandstand Drive

San Antonio, Texas (April 20, 2022) – A woman was struck and injured by a vehicle Monday night at an intersection in San Antonio, according to authorities.

The crash happened just after 10:15 p.m. on April 18 at the intersection of Alamo Downs Parkway and Grandstand Drive.

Authorities said the woman was walking in the street when, for an unknown reason, a white Sedan hit her.

The woman sustained a broken leg and was transported to University Hospital. Her name and current condition were not disclosed.

Alcohol or drugs were not considered a factor in the crash.

No further details about the crash were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
