Deputy Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash at East Highway 62/82 and East County Road 6200

Lubbock, Texas (December 7, 2023) – According to the authorities, a Lubbock County Sheriff’s Deputy was injured Wednesday night in a rear-end crash in Lubbock.

The crash happened just before 10:00 p.m., December 6, in the area of East Highway 62/82 and East County Road 6200.

Authorities said the deputy was on patrol when their vehicle was rear-ended by another vehicle.

The deputy was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle declined EMS.

The crash remains under investigation.
