Sophia Isabella Irehata Killed in Conroe Pedestrian Accident on 1st Street

Conroe, Texas (November 18, 2020) – A 6-year-old girl was fatally hit by a bus Tuesday morning in Conroe, according to police.

The deadly accident happened around 7:30 a.m., November 17, in the 2200 block of 1st Street.

Police said Sophia Isabella Irehata was running late for the bus after the other kids had already loaded up. Irehata ran in front of the bus and was hit by the bus as the driver started driving off. The driver didn’t see Irehata in front of the bus. 

Irehata was taken to Texas Children’s Hospital in The Woodlands, where she later.

The police are investigating the accident.
