1 Seriously Injured in Car Crash at CR 6500 and FM 179 in Lubbock County

One Seriously Injured in Lubbock County Two-Vehicle Crash at CR 6500 and FM 179

Lubbock County, Texas (November 11, 2021) – One person was seriously injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock County, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported just before 6:30 a.m., at the intersection of CR 6500 and FM 179.

According to the report, a vehicle failed to yield the right of way and did not stop at the intersection, and it collided with another vehicle.

One of the drivers was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. They were taken to UMC with serious injuries.

The other driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
