San Angelo, Texas – One person was injured on Monday in a three-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash happened around 12:15 p.m., April 22, in the 4100 block of Sherwood Way.

Police said a woman was driving a Cadillac when she realized she was too fast as the cars ahead of her were stopped at a light. She swerved to miss a Chevy Malibu but she ended up crashing into it. The impact pushed the Malibu and it struck a pickup truck.

The woman was taken to Shannon ER for treatment. She might be issued with a traffic violation citation for failure to control speed.

No other injuries were reported in the crash,

The crash remains under investigation.
