Kristyne Irion Killed in Longview Two-Vehicle Crash on Mobberly Avenue

Longview, Texas (January 21, 2020) – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Longview, according to the police.

The fatal crash took place around 7:21 a.m., January 15, in the 2100 Block of Mobberly Avenue.

Police said Kristyne Irion, 57, of Longview, was driving a black Pontiac northbound when she lost control of her vehicle on the wet road and collided with a white Chrysler Town & Country van.

The impact ejected Irion from her car. She was taken to Christus Good Shepherd Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

The van driver was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
