37-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident on South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610 West)

Houston, Texas – The 37-year-old man who was critically injured on December 3 in a hit-and-run accident in Houston has died, according to the police.

The man was pronounced dead on Sunday, December 10.

The accident happened around 10:00 a.m., in the 1700 block of South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610 West).

Police said the man was riding a maroon Honda GL1200 motorcycle westbound when an unidentified gray Toyota changed lanes and struck the motorcycle.

The Toyota driver fled the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead on December 10. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information on the suspect vehicle or the identity of the wanted driver is urged to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4072. Individuals wishing to remain anonymous can also report information to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
