Woman Hit, Killed by Car on Kimberly Lane in Houston

Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Kimberly Lane

Houston, Texas (October 19, 2020) – A woman in her 70s was fatally hit by a car Monday morning while gardening outside a home in the Memorial area of west Houston, authorities said.

The deadly accident happened around 7:00 a.m. in the 13100 block of Kimberly Lane.

Authorities said a driver, believed to be a woman with a child in the car, blacked out, went into a yard and struck the woman who was gardening.

The woman was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her name has not been released.

An investigation is underway.
