Two Injured in San Antonio Six-Vehicle Crash on N. Weidner Road and Wurzbach Parkway

San Antonio, Texas (August 6, 2021) – Two women were injured Thursday evening in a six-vehicle crash in San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to the police.

The crash happened on August 5, at the intersection of N. Weidner Road and Wurzbach Parkway.

Police said a woman was driving eastbound on Wurzbach Parkway at a high rate of speed when she lost control and crashed into five other vehicles that were stopped at a red light.

The woman was taken to the Brooke Army Medical Center as a precaution.

Another female driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Investigators said speed was a factor in the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
