Pilot Hurt in Kilgore Plane Crash at Airport Road and Norris Road

Kilgore, Texas (July 21, 2019) – One person was injured when a plane crashed at an intersection in Kilgore on Saturday evening.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the wreck happened at the intersection of Airport Road and Norris Road on Saturday, July 20.

DPS said one person was on board a small aircraft when it went down in the area.

The plane’s occupant was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are working to determine the cause of the crash.
