Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Almeda Road in Houston

50-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Almeda Road

Houston, Texas (January 1, 2022) – A 50-year-old man was killed Thursday night in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 8:40 p.m., December 30, in the 13300 block of Almeda Road.

Police said a black Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling southbound when it struck the man who was attempting to cross the roadway.

The man was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.

The Ford driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. He was not impaired at the time of the crash.

The police are investigating the crash.
