1 Killed in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-30 in Hunt County

One Killed in Hunt County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 30 near FM 1903

Hunt County, Texas (January 6, 2023) – According to the Texas DPS, a person was killed Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Hunt County, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 3:15 a.m., January 5, on Interstate 30 near FM 1903.

DPS said a Freightliner truck tractor was traveling westbound on the interstate with a towed unit attached when it slowed for traffic and was rear-ended by a blue Nissan Versa.

The Nissan driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Freightliner driver was uninjured in the crash.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
