One Injured in Abilene Firetruck Crash at South First Street and Danville Drive

Abilene, Texas (March 8, 2022) – One person was injured Monday afternoon in a crash involving a firetruck in Abilene, according to the authorities.

The crash occurred around 2:30 p.m., March 7, at the intersection of South First Street and Danville Drive.

Authorities said an Abilene Fire Department’s Engine 7 and a Dodge Challenger were involved in the crash.

One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
