Emily Rampone Killed and Robert Long Injured in Andrews Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 1788

Andrews, Texas (June 25, 2019) – One person was killed and another was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Andrews, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The crash was reported around 4:14 a.m. June 21, on FM 1788.

Troopers said Emily Rampone, 34, of Andrews, was driving a Toyota Tundra northbound on FM 1788 when said failed to stay in her lane and collided with a Ford F-250 pickup driven by Robert Long.

Rampone was pronounced dead at the scene. Long was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
