Woman Killed in Harris County Pedestrian Accident on Clay Road near Scone Street

Harris County, Texas (January 13, 2021) – A woman was fatally hit by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Harris County, according to deputies.

The deadly accident happened around 6:15 p.m., January 12, in the 16400 block of Clay Road near Scone Street.

Deputies said the woman was attempting to cross the roadway when she was struck by a westbound Ford Crown Victoria.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The Victoria driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash.
