Eight Injured After Vehicle Crashes into Houston Fiesta Mart on Cullen Boulevard

Houston, Texas (January 31, 2021) – Eight people were injured Saturday afternoon after a vehicle crashed into a Fiesta Mart in the Sunnyside area of Houston, according to police.

The crash happened on January 30, in the 9400 block of Cullen Boulevard.

Police said a gold SUV crashed into the front of the store. The SUV went all the way to the registers, about 15 to 20 feet from the entrance.

Eight people, including a 9-year-old, were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

The SUV driver appeared to have been impaired and was taken into custody.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
