Officer McCord Injured in Coffee City Car Crash on Highway 155

Coffee City, Texas (January 8, 2023) – A police officer was injured on Friday in a car crash in Coffee City, according to the police.

The crash happened on January 6, on Highway 155.

Police said a driver failed to vacate the lane and move over and struck Officer McCord’s patrol vehicle as he was about to step out.

The impact caused McCord to be tossed around inside the car. He was taken to the hospital with back injuries.

An investigation is ongoing.
