2 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Loop 289 in West Lubbock

Two injured in West Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 289 and Marsha Sharp Freeway

Lubbock, Texas (May 13, 2021) – Two people were injured Thursday morning in a two-vehicle crash in West Lubbock, according to the police.

The crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. in the area of the West Loop 289 access road and the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Police said a Ford F-150 pickup and a black GMC van were traveling eastbound on Loop 289 when the pickup collided with the GMC, causing it to roll over.

Two people sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No one was taken to the hospital.

The police are investigating the crash.
