Christopher Mekhjian ID’d as Man Killed in Grand Prairie Pedestrian Accident on North Highway 360

Grand Prairie, Texas (June 10, 2019) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident early Saturday morning on a Grand Prairie highway has been identified as Christopher Mekhjian,26, according to the police.

The deadly accident occurred at about 4:45 a.m. June 8, in the 2000 block of North Highway 360.

Police said Mekhjian and another man were crossing the main lanes of the highway from westbound to eastbound when he was hit by a gold Chevrolet Malibu on the northbound exit ramp to Green Oaks and Carrier Parkway.

Mekhjian was killed in the crash. The other man was uninjured in the accident.

The Malibu driver was uninjured.

The police are investigating the crash.
