Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Hillcroft Street

Houston, Texas (April 12, 2023) – A woman died after she was struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Houston, according to Houston police.

The deadly crash happened just after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 11, in the 6600 block of Hillcroft Street.

Houston police said the pedestrian, only identified as a 71-year-old woman, had just gotten off a Metro bus and was attempting to walk across Hillcroft Street when a vehicle struck her.

The woman was taken to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and was not intoxicated at the time of the crash.

The Houston Police Department is investigating the crash.
