Motorcyclist Injured in Crash at FM 2812 and Carmen Avila Road in Edinburg

One Injured in Edinburg Motorcycle Crash at FM 2812 and Carmen Avila Road

Edinburg, Texas (April 6, 2021) – According to the DPS, one person was injured in a motorcycle crash Monday afternoon in rural Edinburg.

The crash occurred around 5:10 p.m., April 5, at the intersection of FM 2812 and Carmen Avila Road.

DPS said a gray Mazda SUV was traveling southbound on Carmen Avila Road when it attempted to turn eastbound onto FM 2812 and was struck by a Suzuki motorcycle. 

The motorcyclist was airlifted to the Doctor’s Hospital Renaissance in stable condition.

An investigation is underway.
