One Killed in West Travis County Motorcycle Crash on State Highway 71 near Bee Caves Road

Travis County, Texas (September 19, 2023) – One person was killed Sunday night in a motorcycle crash in West Travis County, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened around 8:20 p.m., September 17, on Highway 71 near Bee Caves Road.

Officials said a motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle on the highway.

An adult was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

No other details were provided.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
