One Seriously Injured in Leander Pedestrian Accident on U.S. 183 near Heritage Grove Road
Leander, Texas (January 27, 2019) – A person was seriously injured Friday evening in a pedestrian accident in Leander, according to a local news release.
The accident took place at about 6:40 p.m. on U.S. 183 near Heritage Grove Road.
It’s unclear how the pedestrian was hit by the vehicle.
Paramedics responded and transported the victim to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center with serious injuries but not life-threatening injuries.
The involved driver remained at the scene after the accident.
Police closed the southbound lanes for an hour and a half as they worked on the scene.
The lanes were reopened at about 8:20 p.m.
The crash remains under investigation.
