Rene Scarborough Killed in River Oaks Pedestrian Accident on River Oaks Boulevard

River Oaks, Texas (November 28, 2021) – A woman was fatally hit by a vehicle Friday night in River Oaks, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:32 p.m., November 26, in the 4600 block of River Oaks Boulevard.

Police said Courtney Rene Scarborough, 46, of Gatesville, stepped out in front of a vehicle and was hit.

Scarborough was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the accident.

The police are investigating the crash.
