1 Killed in 3-Car Accident on Harwin in Houston

Woman Killed, Several Injured in Houston Car Crash on Harwin near West Sam Houston Parkway
Houston, Texas (May 29, 2019) – A woman was killed and several other people were injured Monday night in a traffic accident involving three vehicles in west Houston, police said.
The deadly crash happened at about 9:30 p.m. Monday, May 27 on Harwin near West Sam Houston Parkway.
According to the police, a Mazda was heading eastbound on Harwin when it was hit by another vehicle that was traveling northbound on the Sam Houston Parkway feeder road. The Mazda was then struck by a third vehicle.
The woman, who has not been identified pending notification of family, was declared dead at the scene.
Police said the drivers in the first two vehicles sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a hospital.
The passengers in the first two vehicles were all transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. Authorities did not indicate the number of passengers in each car.
No other details were immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
