Deborah Hodges Killed in West Harris County Pedestrian Accident on South State Highway 6

Houston, Texas (November 27, 2019) – The woman who was in a hit -and-run accident Friday morning in west Harris County has been identified as Deborah Hodges, a “ward of the state,” according to the deputies.

The deadly accident occurred around 4:30 a.m. November 22, in the 8400 block of South State Highway 6.

Deputies said Hodges might have been standing or crossing the street when she was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

Hodges was then hit by another vehicle. The driver of that vehicle stopped and called 911.

Investigators said Hodges was also struck by multiple other vehicles.

Hodges was declared dead at the scene.
