46-Year-Old Woman Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Texas Highway 6 in Houston

46-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Texas Highway 6

Houston, Texas (April 16, 2022) – A 46-year-old woman died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver late Thursday night in Houston, police said.

The deadly crash took place on Texas Highway 6 on April 14.

According to police, the woman was walking in one of the northbound lanes when she was hit by a vehicle, whose driver fled the scene.

First responders found the woman in the right half of the middle lane.

Despite life-saving measures performed by responding paramedics, the woman was declared dead at the scene. Her name has been released pending notification of next of kin.

Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver.

No other details were available.
