Woman, Infant Injured in Crash at S. Jackson and Avenue L in San Angelo

Woman and Infant Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at S. Jackson and Avenue L 

San Angelo, Texas (March 24, 2023) – Two people were injured on Thursday in a two-vehicle crash in a residential neighborhood in San Angelo, according to the police.

The crash happened on March 23, at the intersection of S. Jackson and Avenue L.

Police said a gray Chevy SUV was struck by a white Ford pickup towing a trailer, forcing the SUV to crash into a decorative boulder in a yard.

A woman and an infant in the SUV were taken to Shannon Medical Center as a precautionary measure. The infant was properly secured in a safety seat.

The pickup truck driver was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

The crash remains under investigation.
