Man Killed and Two Injured in Clute Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 523
Clute, Texas (November 15, 2020) – A man was killed, and two other people were injured in a two-vehicle crash early Saturday morning, two miles west of Clute, according to authorities.
The fatal crash happened around 5:45 a.m., November 14, on FM 523.
DPS said a man was driving a 2012 Cadillac 500 model northbound around a curve on the highway when he skidded and collided with a southbound Ford F-350.
The Cadillac driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford driver, a 43-year-old Angleton man, and his 11-year-old male passenger were taken to CHI St. Luke’s Health Brazosport in Lake Jackson with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
