2 Killed in Beaumont Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 105 near Bevil Oaks
Beaumont, Texas (December 28, 2019) – Two people were killed Friday night in a rollover crash in Beaumont, near the Jefferson and Hardin County line, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened around 7:15 p.m. on December 27, on Highway 105 west of Bevil Oaks.
DPS said a white passenger vehicle was traveling westbound on the highway when it crossed into the eastbound traffic lane and hit a black SUV and a red SUV.
The impact caused the white passenger car to catch fire. Two people in the car were pronounced dead at the scene.
One person was possibly trapped inside one of the vehicles.
Passengers in the other vehicles were taken to local hospitals for treatment.
The crash closed the eastbound and westbound lanes of the highway.
The crash remains under investigation.
