College Station, Texas – A cyclist was seriously injured Tuesday afternoon in a crash in College Station, according to the College Station Police.

The accident happened on April 23, on George Bush Drive near Holik Street.

Police said a person was on an electric bicycle and was traveling in the eastbound bike lane when they hit the passenger side of a small pickup truck as they were turning onto Holik Street from the westbound left turning lane.

The cyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious life-threatening injuries.

No further details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
