4-Year-Old Girl Dies After DWI Crash on FM 1484 in Montgomery County

Montgomery County, Texas – The 4-year-old girl who was injured last week in a DWI crash in Montgomery County has died, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened just before 10:00 p.m., April 18, on FM 1484 at Heritage Road.

DPS said a suspected drunk driver in a Toyota crashed head-on into a Mitsubishi.

The 4-year-old in the car was taken to Memorial Hermann in The Woodlands with critical injuries, including cardiac arrest, a severe head injury, and a possible broken arm, where she died about a week later. Her name has not been released.

The Mitsubishi driver, who was a friend of the girl’s mother, was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The Toyota driver was charged with driving while intoxicated. It was not disclosed if the charges would be upgraded.

The crash remains under investigation.
