Woman Seriously Injured in Pedestrian Crash near Cross Street and South Malinche Avenue in Laredo

47-Year-Old Woman Seriously Injured in Laredo Pedestrian Accident near Cross Street and South Malinche Avenue

Laredo, Texas – A 47-year-old woman was seriously injured Sunday morning in a pedestrian accident in Laredo, according to officials.

The accident happened around 4:00 a.m., March 24, near the corner of Cross Street and South Malinche Avenue.

Officials said the woman was found on the ground by first responders after being hit by a vehicle. She had pain in her lower body and was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Two other women, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, were pushed aside by the vehicle and only suffered scrapes to their knees. They did not require medical assistance.

The crash remains under investigation.
