Pedestrian Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on IH-35 in Austin

One Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on Interstate Highway 35

Austin, Texas (August 24, 2023) – A male pedestrian was killed Monday morning after being struck by multiple vehicles in Austin, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 6:03 a.m., August 21, in the 7400 block of N IH-35 NB.

Police said the pedestrian was struck by several vehicles and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash. The Austin Police Department’s Vehicular Homicide unit is urging anyone with information about the accident to contact them at 512-974-8111.
