36-Year-Old Killed in Houston Pedestrian Crash on Beechnut Street

Houston, Texas (May 18, 2022) – A 36-year-old man was killed on May 13 in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:40 p.m., in the 9600 block of Beechnut Street.

Police said the man was attempting to cross the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by an eastbound gray Chevrolet Tahoe.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead on Saturday, May 14. His name has not been released.

The male driver and a passenger in the Chevrolet were uninjured in the crash. The driver was not impaired at the time of the accident.

The police are investigating the crash.
