One Killed and One Injured in Smith County Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 64 E near CR 298
Smith County, Texas (April 12, 2019) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a three-vehicle crash on Thursday in Smith County between the cities of Chapel Hill and Arp, a local news source reported.
The fatal crash occurred at an unspecified time on Thursday, April 10, on Hwy-64 E, just east of CR-298.
As per the report, the crash involved two passenger cars and a truck tractor towing a semi-trailer.  
One person was killed in the collision. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed.
One other person was taken Christus Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler in unknown condition.
The scene was closed following the crash.
Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes.
The crash remains under investigation.
