Injuries Reported in Lubbock Multi-Vehicle Crash on Slaton Highway

Lubbock, Texas (October 6, 2021) – According to a local news source, injuries were reported Wednesday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in Lubbock.

The crash happened just after 7:00 a.m., on the Slaton Highway, near CR 3000 and East Highway 84.

According to the report, at least three vehicles were involved in the wreck. One of the vehicles struck a power line in the parking lot of a nearby liquor store.

A person was ejected from one of the vehicles.

Injuries were reported in the crash, but it is unclear how many people were injured.

The crash closed one lane on both sides of the Slaton Highway.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area if possible.

The crash remains under investigation.
