72-Year-Old Roger Grizzard Killed in Hockley County Traffic Crash at US 62 and Foster Road

Hockley County, Texas (May 27, 2019) – A 72-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle wreck on Saturday night in Hockley County.
According to the authorities, the collision took place on Saturday, May 25, at the intersection of US 62 and Foster Road.
Police said 72-year-old Roger Dale Grizzard of Weatherford was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Traverse on Foster Road when he made a turn onto US 62 and collided with a truck that was heading northeast on US 62.
Grizzard sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at the site of the collision. His two passengers were transported to UMC with incapacitating injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
