Elijah Barrera Killed in Odessa Crash on University Boulevard and Adams Avenue

Odessa, Texas (May 16, 2022) – One person was killed on Sunday in a traffic accident in Odessa, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened on May 15, in the area of University Boulevard and Adams Avenue.

Authorities said Elijah Barrera, 23, was traveling through the intersection when he was struck by 56-year-old Rodolfo Gamboa.

Barrera was pronounced dead at the scene.

Gamboa’s condition was not disclosed.

No other information was available.

An investigation is underway.
