Person Dies in Lubbock Scooter Crash at Boston Avenue and 2nd Place

Lubbock, Texas (May 26, 2022) – According to the police, a person has died following the May 16 scooter accident in Lubbock.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Boston Avenue and 2nd Place.

Police said a person was riding a scooter when they disregarded a stop sign and collided with a Dodge Durango at the intersection.

The scooter rider was taken to University Medical Center with serious injuries, where they later died. Their identity has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash.
